Pia Toscano Messes U.S National Anthem Only A Little Bit at 'Auto Club 400' [Video]
Remember Pia Toscano? She was contestant on the tenth season of 'American Idol' in 2011, she signed to Insterscope following her elimination, she released a single "This Time" (which didn't do to well), we interviewed her, she 'parted ways' with Interscope in 2012 and never had the chance to release her already-recorded (at least a high percentange of it was) debut album, and ever since she's tried to push forward doing gigs here and there across the U.S. Most-recently, Jennifer Lopez invited Pia to help her do the 'acapella' intro on her "I Luh Ya Papi" performance on 'Idol' last week.
As part of her 'doing gigs here and there across the U.S', Pia Toscano was hired to sing the U.S national anthem, aka. 'The Star-Spangled Banner', at the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series 'Auto Club 400' at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California on Sunday, March 23rd. How did she fare? Please, watch the video below.
Well, Pia definitely did a decent job on Sunday afternoon. However, as you could have spotted in the performance video, she had one tiny little vocal 'mishap'. Did she choke with her saliva or what?
