Zendaya - "My Baby" (Music Video)
Zendaya premiered the music video for her song "My Baby" on her official YouTube page today (Jan. 27). The catchy, R&B-pop number serves as the second signle from the 17-year-old's self-titled debut album, and followed-up to the Top 40 hit "Replay".
The version of "My Baby" used for the music video is the original, solo edit. Earlier this month, an official remix version featuring rappers Ty Dolla Sign, Iamsu! and Bobby Brackins was released online. Many thought Zendaya would use the remix version as the official radio edit in an attempt to attract a larger audience on radio, but that wasn't the case in the end. The video is out, and it confirms the solo edit will be the promoted one.
The "My Baby" music video is so low-budget and boring. Zendaya tries a couple of masculine and feminine looks as she sings and poses for the camera trying to be cool and sexy. That's it. I like the song, but the video is certainly a "one watch only" thing.
