World Premiere: The Band Perry - "Live Forever" [Audio + GMA Performance + Music Video]
Busy day ahead for The Band Perry. The country trio’s new single “Live Forever” is out today (August 14th) on iTunes and radio, CMT will premiere the music video to day too, and also today, on “Good Morning America”, The Band Perry will perform “Live Forever” for the first time live/on television. What a packed day, huh? I swear…if this doesn’t go at least Top 5 on iTunes…somebody’s going to be embarrassed.
“Live Forever” is the official first single from The Band Perry’s forthcoming yet-untitled third studio album, which will be released in the fall via Republic Nashville. The song was co-produced by country mainstay Dann Huff and pop music heavyweight RedOne. Yeah, that’s “Bad Romance” producer RedOne. And yeah, what you are thinking is correct; The Band Perry’s next album will be what “Red” was to Taylor Swift. Uh-huh: The country trio is having a small taste of the delicious ‘pop genre’ ice cream. Hopefully this won’t become their forbidden fruit and end up dying like Adam and Eve. What do you think? Is it okay that they try pop music just a bit? I mean, they’re not entirely leaving country. “Live Forever” is still falls into the country song category, it’s got that country vibe, but yeah, there’s an evident pop music influence. I mean, hello, there’s none pop artist in this would who wouldn’t have wanted to record the chorus on The Band Perry’s new single “Live Forever”. It’s anthemic, and Top 40-ready as f*ck. Loves it!
STAY TUNED: Music video and GMA performance will be added to this same page.
