World Premiere! Snakehips & MØ - "Don't Leave": Full Audio + Review

snakehips dont leave

Snakehips blessed us last summer with the Zayn-assisted single “Cruel” and now, quite a few months later (ok, I see they’re taking their time…), the British electronic/R&B production duo is ready to give fans some new music. Their new single “Don’t Leave” featuring Danish singer , aka. the girl who sings Major Lazer’s “Lean On”, got premiered tonight on Spotify. This will too appear on Snakehips’ forthcoming full-length debut studio album, which should be coming later in 2017 via Sony.

If MØ was in the search a new song that would put her back on the mainstream map, she finally found it, thanks to Snakehips, in “Don’t Leave”. This sounds like a total radio hit and therefore a chart hit. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if “Don’t Leave” receives some Hot 100 love in the US in the upcoming months. It’s THAT GOOD, at least in my humble opinion.

Over a super melodic electronic beat, our girl MØ will sing, actually BEG, a guy to not leave her because she’s nothing without him and blah blah blah and because she’s gotten “my shit together” and she hopes she can please the man with her changed attitude now.

The chorus of “Don’t Leave” is particularly GOLD for me. I can totally pictures girls making this new Snakehips single their new anti-break-up anthem.

Hit or Miss?
