World Premiere: Michael Bublé - "The More You Give (The More You’ll Have)" [Full Audio + Review]
There ain’t no Christmas without two people; Mariah Carey and Michael Bublé. The former is already here taking radios by storm as every year around these dates with “All I Want For Christmas Is You” and the latter has just made his appearance with the release of a brand new Christmas single titled “The More You Give (The More You’ll Have)“, a completely original song that is available for purchase and streaming online as of yesterday, November 30th, via Reprise Records. “The More You Give (The More You’ll Have)“ marks the proper comeback of Michael Bublé after releasing in 2013 his last studio album “To Be Loved” and recording a cover of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” with Idina Menzel for her 2014 “Holiday Wishes” album. It’s yet a mystery whether “The More You Give (The More You’ll Have)“ is part of a brand new Christmas album from Michael or if it’s just a one-off single for the holiday season, but I really hope it’s the first option! Fingers crossed!
“The More You Give (The More You’ll Have)“, which is just over 3 minutes long (listen via Spotify below, stars with an acapella moment where we can only hear Michael’s sensitive vocals and it’s from the first chorus where the typical festive Christmas production begins. Throughout the uplifting song Michael passes along the message that the more love you give, the more love you will receive. “So spread some cheer /Let's give love and get some back /The more you give, the more you'll have” is exactly what Mr. Bublé says.
“The More You Give (The More You’ll Have)“ is very pretty original Christmas song, and it’s just one perfect ‘vehicle’ through which Michael Bublé can show off his crooner vocals. He definitely knows how to pick his songs right!
Now we can finally say the holiday season has officially started!
