World Premiere: Ellie Goulding - "On My Mind" [Full Audio]
“It’s different but good different” were the words of a radio executive who had heard Ellie Goulding’s new single “On My Mind” a few days ago. But today, September 17, we don’t need to “imagine” how the song would sound like anymore as Ellie’s “On My Mind” world premiered this morning on the BBC Radio 1. (Check out a fabulous HQ radio rip of the song at the bottom of this page).
“On My Mind” is the official lead single from the British singer-songwriter’s much-anticipated third studio album, thought to be titled “Delirium”, which according to some industry sources will be released on November 6th (via Interscope Records that is).
The newly-unveiled "On My Mind" is a radio-friendly electro-pop song with catchy melodies and signature ethereal vocals by Ms. Goulding about being completely obsessed with another person.

All of Ellie's singles in the past have been very well received on mainstream radios despite them haven't been 100% mainstream-sounding - as Ellie's always injected a bit of a "indie" influence in her songs - but this time new single "On My Mind" has evidently been crafted to cater pop radios, and although I'm totally OK with this, as I'm totally digging Ellie's new single, I am bit worried about how Ellie's all-time fans will react to it. Will they be disappointed at Ellie for allegedly not keeping it "true" to her own sound, and being a..."sell out" (just saying what these loyal fans MIGHT be thinking...don't throw rocks my way)? In any case, I'm sure once "On My Mind" reaches #1 everywhere everything will be quickly forgotten, lol. This song was born to rule the charts!
