Willow Smith Releases 'Rockstar' In Full (Video)
If Jay-Z's daughter Ivy Blue could talk, I bet she'd say; 'Daddy, why did you sign this little girl named Willow again?' - Jay-Z must've realized by now he made a mistake signing 11-year-old Willlow Smith to Roc Nation...she only produced one hit single 'Whip My Hair', and ever since then, and the follow-ups have been total commercial disaster. I mean, after '21st Century Girl', Willow got a hot feature with Nicki Minaj on 'Fireball', and was even given a bid budget for the music video, but even with all that, 'Fireball' flopped HARD. Currently, I don't know if Willow's still on Roc Nation's roaster, cause her debut album 'Knees and Elbows' still doesn't have a fixed release date after all these years.
Anyhow, little Willow just uploaded on her YouTube page a new video, her FIRST ever according to a tweet, featuring loads of old footage from her promo trips to Europe (London and Paris) and her song 'Rockstar' playing on the background. We first heard a snippet of this track a long time ago, and it's only now we get to listen to it in full. I thought 'Rockstar' sounded hot in snippet format, and having heard it in its entirety now, I still think it's a hot track. LOL at the lyric 'Im taking over the game' though...
