What’s Harry Styles Doing In The 1975’s “Love Me” Music Video? Watch Now!
Is Matthew Healy, the frontman of The 1975, always like this or did he smoke something before filming the “Love Me” music video?
Today (Oct. 28) on VEVO, British rock band The 1975 premiered the music video for their new single “Love Me”. This funky-influenced upbeat track is the first official single from the band’s upcoming studio album, “I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It”, which will hit stores in February next year. That’s right, you didn’t read it wrong. I said February. What kind of craziness is this? I don’t know, but surely The 1975 and Polypro Records know what they’re doing. Some kind of new marketing strategy that we’re unaware of?
Directed by Diane Martel, the “Love Me” music video shows Matthew Healy performing his funky-rock single shirtless and looking a bit wasted/high accompanied by the rest of the band. In other scenes we see Matt getting into the hot tub with pretty girls and the boys of his band, as well as vandalizing and having drinks with life-size cardboard cutouts of random pop stars, such as Harry Styles, Rita Ora, Ed Sheeran, Charli XCX or the late Elvis Presley, among others.
