Watch Taylor Swift Perform "Fearless" Under Heavy Rain at New Jersey "Reputation Tour" Concert!
Taylor Swift performed not one but three consecutive sold-out concerts at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey over the weekend. And at one of those “Reputation World Tour” dates, the weather was so bad; a rainstorm “annoyed” the crowd and Taylor during the whole concert. But Taylor made it work. What do I mean? That she exploited this weather incident to her advantage. At this particular overly wet concert, Taylor treated her fans with a surprise performance of her old song “Fearless”, which she performed at the b-stage, acoustically, with just her guitar. And do you remember the lyrics? There’s a line in the chorus that says “And I don't know why but with you I'd dance / In a storm in my best dress / Fearless”. And that’s when I realized why Taylor had chosen this song for that specific concert. It was just appropriate to perform “Fearless” under that heavy rain. Watching the video of the performance and hearing Taylor sing that lyric (totally aware of why she chose this song), I got immediate goosebumps.
