Watch: Psy Takes 'The Today Show' By Storm For The Second Time In Less Than A Year
It all begins again for Psy in the US. Since last September NBC's 'The Today Show' was his big entrance on American television and the show that opened many doors to "Gangnam Style", the South Korean rap-pop sensation is repeating the same path for "Gentleman". Psy appeared live on the episode of 'The Today Show' on Friday morning (May 3) to do a double performance and interview.
Psy took Today's outdoors stage at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City to deliver the first televised performance on US soil of "Gentleman", his brand new single whose glossy music video is breaking records on YouTube too, and treat his fans again with "Gangnam Style" live as well. On the interview part, Psy - besides thanking 'Today' for having him again - taught co-host Matt Lauer the signature dance move of the "Gentleman" music video. The 'hip dance' was introduced in the K-pop world back in 2009 courtesy of Brown Eyed Girls' "Abracadabra" MV, but it is now being pushed internationally thanks to Psy. Matt Lauer was getting crunk! lol. Watch videos below!
