Watch: Pink & Nate Ruess Perform 'Just Give Me A Reason' Live In Concert In Germany
P!nk surprised German fans packing the O2 World Arena in the city of Hamburg when she welcomed on stage Fun.'s frontman Nate Ruess to sing together their #1 smash hit "Just Give Me Reason" from P!nk's new album "The Truth About Love" on May 1.
P!nk is currently performing the European leg of her new world tour in support of her sixth studio album. Band Fun. is also in Europe doing a few select shows in capital cities before commencing their headlining summer tour in the US. So it just coincided that Pink and Nate were in the same city at the same time, so this new performance of "Just Give Me Reason" simply HAD to happen. This is only the second time they've performed the #1 song together. The first time was last year during P!nk's set for VH1 Storytellers.
I gotta show more love to their VH1 Storytellers rendition though. Blame it on the lack of a soundcheck maybe, or ear-piece problem, but Nate Ruess did not have his best night vocally on Wednesday, May 1 at Hamburg's O2 World Arena. He sounded weird, and very off-key at moments. Plus, what was he wearing? Lol. Ok, I get that is his 'look', but vocals were not bueno anyway. The chemistry between them has improved though! Still, I hope a live TV performance of "Just Give Me Reason" doesn't take too long to happen...although P!nk's still busy in Europe until the end of May. It's just that "Just Give Me Reason" is doing such an amazing job in the US, that it is already calling out loud for a live TV performance!
