Watch: Mariah Carey Perform on 'Good Morning America', Fun. Rock 'The Today Show'
Mariah Carey performed a three-song mini concert in New York City's Central Park on May 24 to help kick off GMA's Summer Concerts Series 2013. The pop diva enchanted her hundreds of fans (or Lambs, as she likes to call them) who woke up very early on Friday morning to see the one and only Ms Carey do live performances of her classics; "Always Be My Baby" and "We Belong Together".
Despite wardrobe malfunctions, MiMi pulled off two brilliant performances. However, when the time came to perform the lead single from her upcoming fourteenth studio album, the romantic R&B ballad "#Beautiful", that for the first time had Mariah and Miguel sharing a stage, things didn't seem to work as the 'Glitter' diva probably expected. Let's be honest, "#Beautiful" isn't a song that translates well live. Mariah did all she could, but ultimately for me, the performance felt 'flat'. Oh, and DEAD at Mariah being unable to reach her signature high notes correctly towards the end.

American indie-pop band Fun. kicked off the 2013 Summer Concert Series of NBC's 'The Today Show' on May 24. This year's concerts are not gonna be from NYC's Rockafeller Plaza as it is usual, but from the boardwalk in New Jersey's Seaside Heights!
The 'Jersey Shore' was re-opened on Friday after the terrible damages caused by Hurricane Sandy. The Governor of New Jersey and the entire cast of MTV's "Jersey Shore" made apperances on 'The Today Show' as they thanked the programme for bringing their Summer Concert Series to Seaside Heights this year.
Anyway, back to Fun.'s gig, as they have no new music out, Nate and Co. performed a three-song set that featured the hits; "Carry On", "Some Nights" and "We Are Young". They and the crowd seemed to have had a great time. So, all good!
