Watch Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett Do "Anything Goes" Live from Brussels (Professional VEVO Footage!)
Jazz Goddess Lady Gaga interrupted her "ArtRave" world tour earlier this week to perform a special "Cheek to Cheek" album release concert alongside Tony Bennett at The Grand Place in Brussels, Belgium. Apparently VEVO filmed the entire thing because they've just uploaded online (Sept. 26) a professionally-shot video of the "Anything Goes" performance. Watch it below!! It's just EPIC.
Tony looking classy in a black suit, and Lady Gaga wearing a golden dress (didn't really suit her well because it made her look 'big' but it doesn't matter because the slayage that followed their stage entering compensated everything!), that's how the Jazz couple walked on stage after being introduced by a man off-camera. Then, Tony and Gaga performed, well more than performed actually, SLAYED their cover of the Cole Porter classic "Anything Goes", the first single from "Cheek to Cheek".
Tony sounded fantastic as usual, but when it comes to Gaga you never know. Sometimes she sounds fine, other times amazing, other times really mellow and safe, and other times very Gaga. This time in Brussels she debuted a new genre of live slayage. She just took that stage by storm - and didn't care much the crowd was beyond dead, she slayed anyway (she knew the VEVO cameras were rolling). Gaga's performance was spectacular. She sounded BEYOND amazing - not a single flaw - she hit them long notes so easily, she walked around the entire stage and she even put that dress long train to work like no other diva would. Loved it!!
