Watch Hunter Hayes' Green-Heavy "21" Music Video (Premiere)
A month after dropping his latest single “21”, country heartthrob Hunter Hayes finally premiered the official music video. It exclusively happened on CMT.com on Saturday night, June 28th.
“21”, an uplifting country-rock song about a couple living life like they were 21 all over again with partying like a maniac being totally okay and cool, is the first single from Hunter’s forthcoming third studio album – oh wait, he ain’t releasing no more albums. Sorry, my bad. “21” is just a one-off digital single from the many to come from Hunter’s camp in the future.
Directed by Kristin Barlowe, the “21” music video doesn’t have the greatest budget ever nor the best storyline – in fact it has none, but it’s definitely worth at least one watch. It’s a fun little performance clip.
The MV sees Mr. Hayes singing his “21” song in front of a green backdrop, and showing his skills with the guitar. Dancers will also get the chance to show off their talents in the green set. But it’s not everything about green. Hunter will also perform “21” with a few flashing lights in the back in all-black room. Cool, huh?
Oh. And wondering what’s up with that dog showing up in the last scene? That’s Hunter’s dog Cole, and I guess he was looking forward for him to appear in one of his music videos already.
