Watch: Bruno Mars Shines on 'Ellen', Travie McCoy (with Estelle) Rocks 'Leno'
Grammy winning star Bruno Mars has finally delivered the first televised performance of his 'Twilight' song, the oh-so-epic "It Will Rain"....yey! This took place on Friday afternoon (November 18th) on 'Ellen' - Watch above! Bruno's new single is currently enjoying massive success everywhere, in particular in the US where the The Smeezingtons-produced track sits within the Top 10 on both iTunes and Billboard's Hot 100 chart. With the official music video premiering last week, it was just a matter of days til' we saw Bruno promoting "It Will Rain" on American TV. Hopefully this 'Ellen' gig is just the beginning of a long promo schedule. Watching Bruno perform "It Will Rain" is simply a pleasure! He killed it on 'Ellen' btw!
Also promoting his latest single on TV this week, although he doesn't really need to cuz it's already a solid global smash, is Travie McCoy, well Gym Class Heroes to be precise. The American hip hop band took the stage on Thursday evening (November 17th) on NBC's 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' alongside talented British singer Estelle, who was replacing Adam Levine, to do a performance of "Stereo Hearts". They did really nice! Don't know who's idea it was, but asking Estelle to step in was a brilliant move! I liked the new 'air' she gave to the song, with her soulful vocals, adlibs, personality, and simply the fact of hearing a female doing Adam's part really. Pretty cool experiment! Maybe the Gym Class guys will ask other female stars to help them out with "Stereo Hearts" live?.
What do YOU think of these performances?
