Watch Bjork's Metamorphosis In Her Latest Video for "Vulnicura" Track "Family"
Bjork can't stop being weird and that's what I like about her. The Icelandic music princess unveiled on Monday night (March 16) a sort of ‘official music video’ for her song “Family” from the “Vulnicura” album. I say sort of official because this is what Bjork described “it” to be: “the video for ‘family’ was created in collaboration between björk and andrew thomas huang. the video depicts a moving cover of her current album ‘vulnicura’". There you go! Although, I can't really see the similarity between this “moving cover” video and the actual cover of “Vulnicura”, can you? On the CD cover, Bjork has a set of spike-y flowers stuck on her head and a rubber-y black bodysuit and I don't see any of that in the video below. In any case, if Bjork says this is a "Vulnicura" 'moving cover' then I will have to believe her. She is the creator of everything in the end.
Who doesn't love Bjork's contemporary art? All of her "Vulnicura" visuals released thus far should be being exposed at some world-renowned museum. #Truetea
The latest ‘music video’ for “Family” shows Bjork inside of some sort of cocoon which she'll eventually emerge from and later metamorphose into a beautiful yellow being.
The videos make the songs
“Lionsong” and now “Family”. I’m really starting to like the songs from "Vulnicura" thanks to Bjork's creepy but cool supporting visuals. She should keep releasing them because that way I think I will end up loving the entire album.
