Watch: 2014 iHeart Radio Music Awards - The Performances
The first ever iHeart Radio Music Awards took over the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles earlier tonight and it was a memorable one. The show was aired on over 150 iHeart Radio Stations as well as live on Television courtesy of NBC. Fan input played a huge role as a total of 60 million votes were registered for some of the categories, including Song of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Best Lyrics.
Rihanna brought home artist of the year and song of the year, an emotional Pharrell received iHeart Radio’s Innovator Award, Billy Ray Cyrus accepted the Best Lyrics award in behalf of Miley Cyrus, and Usher premiered Michael Jackson's new single 'Love Never Felt So Good'. There were many memorable moments at the iHeart Radio Music Awards and some of them came during the performances. Artists who had the opportunity to perform on stage include names like Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, Ariana Grande, Pitbull, Ed Sheeran, Shakira, Arcade Fire, and 30 Seconds To Mars.
