Vengeful BET Make Remy Ma Win Award Over Nicki Minaj: Watch Video

To make Remy Ma win “Best Female Hip Hop Artist” at the 2017 BET Awards last night just because Nicki Minaj didn’t attend? That’s just sad. BET are being petty.
That’s right, Remy Ma, the “Shether” rapper, has won an award over Cardi B, Missy Elliott, Nicki Minaj and Young M.A – but most importantly over Nicki. The “Best Female Hip Hop Artist” trophy was for her last night at the 2017 BET Awards. And whole Twitter got on fire from people slamming BET for their poor winner decision, the crowd at the Microsoft Theater where the 2017 BET Awards were being held seemed to be happy about Remy’s victory; for the cheering was loud. This was a shocking decision. You could tell from Remy Ma’s face. She didn’t expect it either.
During her acceptance speech, and after thanking this and that, Remy dedicated a few words to nemesis Nicki Minaj in a form of a short rap.
Although I differ from BET’s “Best Female Hip Hop Artist” winner call, I must say Remy looked very beautiful last night. You could say she was “dressed to win”.
But now, it’s clear to me BET only made Remy Ma won because Nicki wasn’t in live attendance this year. And hell no they were not going to give the award to any other nominee that wasn’t Remy. Nicki’s no-show was the perfect excuse for BET to get the ratings up and the headlines on fleek with their shady “let’s make Remy win” moment.
BET better realize this “move” will cost them dearly. I have no doubt Nicki will ditch these awards for a few years.
