Review
The song is growing on me. Still it obviously isn't a "Hey Soul Sister" or a "Drive By". Within a month of release, the song is doing a decent job on radio, though. The music video premiere and upcoming TV performances will definitely boost the song’s airplay and digital sales. Hopefully the first positive impact is on digital sales, though, because “Angel In Blue Jeans” is, as of this post, nowhere to be found on iTunes’ Top 100.
As for the music video, the ‘Wild West + seeks revenge’ theme totally fits the song! Danny Trejo aka. Machete was girlfriend-less when Sheriff Pat Monahan took her away from him. Now, Danny is looking for revenge and he will confront his No. 1 enemy at a town bar where fortunately he won’t need to shoot any bullet to save his love interest.
