Tove Lo’s NSFW “Fairy Dust” Short Film Is A Must-Watch: Includes New Song
Tove Lo premiered last night (Oct. 31) the “music video” that ought to win “Video of the Year” at the VMAs next year. This is the “Fairy Dust” short film. A little visual project conceived by Tove Lo of 31 MINUTES OF LENGTH!
Throughout the short film, we can hear the following songs from Tove Lo’s recently released third studio album “Lady Wood” (in order): “Influence”, “Lady Wood”, “True Disaster”, “Cool Girl”, and “Vibes”.
I’m not going to reveal anything from the plot of this short film because you MUST WATCH IT but I do want to say that a) WOW, Tove Lo should totally considering pursing an acting career too, and b) with this short film the “Cool Girl” music video finally makes sense…
Oh, the NSFW warning in the title is not really because of what you will see in the short film, but what’s shown during the end-credits! (second pic above). That’s…ehm…Tove Lo “loving” herself very…ehm…vigorously. And by the way, the song you hear playing in the background while she does THAT is a brand new song called “What I Want For The Night”, which will appear on Tove Lo’s next album that will be a new volume of the “Lady Wood” project.
