Tinashe - "Pretend" [Music Video Premiere]
Loving the song and loving the video! Tinashe just premiered on VEVO the official visuals for her latest single "Pretend" off her upcoming debut LP "Aquarius", in stores October 7th via RCA Records. The Detail-produced "2 On" follow-up features rapper A$AP Rocky.
Tinashe may not be singing about 'weed' on her new single but the feel-good "Pretend" has enough power to do some serious damage on Rhythmic radio.
Directed by Jodeb and shot in Los Angeles, the music video shows Tinashe living an unhappy life with her boyfriend. She still thinks about her high-school crush (A$AP Rocky) and she randomly sees him after a long time, Tinashe finally realizes it's time to stop "pretending" and abandon the man that doesn't really make her happy. She will plot something with A$AP Rocky so they can escape and never heard about her ex again. Best scene? When Tinashe and A$AP look upon the wide sea (screencap below).
