Timeflies Recruit Natalie La Rose For New Single “Worse Things Than Love”: Listen Now!
American duo Timeflies, made of producer Rob Resnick and vocalist Cal Shapiro, released early last year their major label debut album “After Hours” and although it made it onto the Top 10 on the Billboard Top 200, the Island Records-supported album failed to spawned any real hits on the charts or radio. And although dropping them would have been the most expected move by Island, the executives of the UMG label opted to keep them and allowing them to release a second album (Timeflies should feel VERY grateful. No everyone gets this chance).
The second album doesn’t have a title yet nor a fixed release date, but we do know one thing up to this day; the first single. The song is called “Worse Things Than Love”, it features “Somebody” Dutch star Natalie La Rose, and it was released on iTunes today, June 23.
The song ain’t bad. It’s kind of groovy. And it might become a decent-sized hit. Maybe Top 20 or something. Timeflies high on the Hot 100? Lucky you! You could be securing a third album if my prediction proves real.
Hear Timeflies teach Natalie one or two things about life in “Worse Things Than Love” below.
