The Weeknd, Nick Jonas, Shawn Mendes And More Perform at 2015 Much Music Video Awards (Videos)
The 2015 Much Music Video Awards were held as every year outside the Much Music headquarters in Toronto, Canada on Sunday night (June 21st).
Performers at the 2015 edition included; The Weeknd (who won the most important award of the night, “Video of the Year” for “Often”), Nick Jonas, Ed Sheeran, Jason Derulo, Tori Kelly and Shawn Mendes.
The Weeknd performed a medley consisting of new song “The Hills” and “Fifty Shades of Grey” soundtrack hit “Earned It”, Nick Jonas did not show skin this time but slayed new single “Chains” anyway on that stage, Jason Derulo got the party started with the energetic “Want to Want Me”, Tori Kelly put her beautiful vocals in display with “Nobody Love” (RCA really believes in this girl, huh? They’re already getting her overseas gigs!), and last but not least, Canada’s very own Shawn Mendes and his always-by-his-side guitar friend treated the crowd with an acoustic performance of “Stitches”.
Best performance? For me it’s so obvious. Mr. The Weeknd hands down. And isn’t it just obvious that his fame is going to explode once his next album drops? His worldwide superstar career is about to launch. So happy for him.
