The Veronicas Sound More Like Them In "If You Love Someone": Stream Their New Single!
This feels more Veronicas-ish. The Australian sisters just premiered on radio in Australia their next single “If You Love Someone” and it’s totally better than “You Ruin Me”. The piano ballad was pretty and it helped showed one of the many sides of the Veronicas’ prism, but I just didn’t connect with it. I guess I’ll always prefer to listen to the upbeat The Veronicas songs as I relate their image more to the upbeat. Not here for their ballads that much. So I’m pretty happy with their new single choice! This is going to be the girls’ second single from their upcoming self-titled third studio album that will come out in stores (hopefully) in early 2015 via Sony Music Entertainment.

“If You Love Someone” song review
“If you love someone, then tell them right now / 'Cause your heart won't rest 'till you let it out””, sing The Veronicas in unison in the hook of their new love anthem. “If You Love Someone” is going to be available on iTunes from November 7 (Friday!). It boasts a pop/rock production, a lot of guitar, fast-space singing by The Veronicas in the verses and a powerful hook. By the way, if you’re wondering too: “doesn’t the hook sound familiar?”. The answer is: YES. It seems the writers/producer of “If You Love Someone” listened repeatedly to The Saturdays’ hit “Higher” before creating this Veronicas song because they sound alike.
