The Vamps Perform "Somebody to You" on "The Today Show" [Video]
British boyband The Vamps performed a mini-concert on “The Today Show” live from the Rockefeller Plaza (NYC) studios of NBC on Thursday, July 24th. This is The Vamps’ first TV stop of their new US promotional trip to support their "Somebody to Love" EP. The EP is getting released on August 4th via Virgin EMI Records. Back in their homeland of the UK, The Vamps released their full-length debut album "Meet the Vamps" in April, and it reached #2 on the charts. Now it's time for The Vamps to try to crack the U.S!
At their “The Today Show” gig this morning, The Vamps performed their current US single “Somebody to Love” (unfortunately they didn't perform the new duet version with Demi Lovato - although Brad did say "We're going to do “Somebody to Love” with Demi Lovato"...I was hyperventilating for a second!). There was no second performance. Boo!
“Today Show” performance review
The Vamps frontman Brad Simpson still has room for vocal improvement (especially vocal control...he’s only 18 years old, though), nevertheless he and the rest of the band pulled off an energetic and fun show. Little girls looked happy!
