The Killers - “The Man”: Full Audio + Review / New Single
Your wish has been fulfilled.
The Killers officially released their comeback single “The Man” on digital platforms today. The electro-rock song will serve as the first single from the Brandon Flowers-led band’s forthcoming fifth studio album, first release since 2012’s “Battle Born”, entitled “Wonderful Wonderful”, which will be out in stores at some point in September via Island Records.
Are you a guy who feels very macho or who feels like he’s above everyone? Then this song is going to be your new anthem. Listen up.
“Don't try to teach me, I got nothing to learn / 'Cause baby I'm gifted”, sings Brandon Flowers with his mesmerizing and penetrating vocals. See what I meant?
The rock and electronic hybrid that the production of “The Man” is about is just too hot to handle. The Killers gambled with this new sound and it paid off big time. Why? Because I’m loving it, duh! And if I like this, then a lot of people are going to like it too.
I HAVE THIS ON CONSTANT REPLAY! (It’ll probably be my most-replayed song on Spotify today).
By the way, a music video for “The Man” has apparently been shot already. Expect it to premiere in the coming days.
