The HeavyTrackerz Drop Video For Feel-Good Debut Single "Old Habits"
Introducing The HeavyTrackerz! This production trio got their breakthrough in the UK music scene earlier this year with the Top 20 hit “German Whip” by grime rapper Meridian Dan. Following a few other production works for other artists this summer, The HeavyTrackerz are now stepping into the spotlight by themselves. They premiered via BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Mistajam show their debut single “Old Habits” a few weeks ago, and they JUST dropped the official video on YouTube this week.
“Old Habits” is a big departure from The HeavyTrackerz’ grime sound as the new song is all about DANCE music. It’s real feel-good dance track that will instantly become a party-favourite of yours. Newcomer Yana Toma provides vocals in “Old Habits”.
“You’re bringing back my old habits", sings Yana in the chorus of the The HeavyTrackerz' new single. "Opening with a bouncing piano riff followed by the drum beat kicking in and a sweet vocal from Yana Toma, this one is in instant head turner when you hear it pouring through the speakers and flowing in to your ears”, reads the description of "Old Habits" on an official press release and I couldn't agree more with it!
Hoping that it turns into a big hit, The HeavyTrackerz are speeding up the promotion and dropped the visuals for "Old Habits" yesterday. The feel-good video shows The HeavyTrackerz and friends painting a large piece of cloth at a park (see the final result at the end) and dancing to the infectious beat of "Old Habits" with Yana Toma.
