Taylor Swift Duets With Steven Tyler & Kelsea Ballerini At Nashville Concert: Watch
Taylor Swift brought two very special guests on stage yesterday (Sept. 25) at Night 1 of her two-day residency at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville as part of her “1989 World Tour”.
The “Bad Blood” singer first welcomed Kelsea Ballerini and together they sang the #1 country hit “Love Me Like You Mean It” (included on Kelsea’s “The First Time” debut album). “I hope she was my sister”, said Taylor before bringing the rising country singer on stage before the eyes of over 18.000 people. Later in the same night, Taylor brought out surprise number two; Aerosmith leader Steven Tyler!!! Together they sang the legendary love ballad “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” (from the “Armageddon” soundtrack) – Steven was on fire! (as usual).

Singing 'I Don't Want to Miss a Thing' with @IamStevenT was an honor. So inspired by how sweet he was to all of us. pic.twitter.com/D6YOv1yYXe

The best performance out of the two was obviously the “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” one but I really enjoyed Taylor singing “Love Me Like You Mean It” too. It felt amazing watching her perform country-pop music again. And… you just know if she had released “Love Me Like You Mean It” as her own single, this would have been a mega monster worldwide smash! (but totally love Kelsea Ballerini’s original version, and I’m glad the country-pop music scene has welcomed an immense new talent like her).
Thoughts?
