Taylor Swift - "Bad Blood" [Music Video Premiere!]
As scheduled, right before the beginning of the 2015 Billboard Music Awards last night, ABC premiered pop star Taylor Swift’s much-anticipated music video for her new single “Bad Blood”, the fourth from “1989”.
The song “Bad Blood” was produced by Max Martin and Shellback, and it’s kind of an anthemic yet “dark” pop song where Tay-Tay vents her hostility towards an unnamed artist that also belongs to the music industry. The mystery wasn’t really that hard to figure out. “Bad Blood” is about Katy Perry, who a couple of years ago tried to “sabotage” Taylor’s world tour by hiring people that worked for her. It’s all a big drama, honestly, and you know that Taylor’s way of solving problems is by writing songs about it rather than talking to the people she has a problem with. Hey, if that serves her as inspiration to create awesome songs that work well on radio and make her tons of money, screw talking to people, right?
Directed by Joseph Khan, the super high-budget, and cinematic “Bad Blood” music video features starring appearances by Zendaya, Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding, Jessica Alba, Ellen Pompeo, Cindy Crawford, Kendrick Lamar, Hayley Williams, among many, many others. Seriously, I didn’t know Taylor had that many friends in the music and film industries, ‘cause I bet none were paid a dime for their roles.
