Tamia Warns Boo, ‘You’re “Stuck With Me”’, In New Album #6 Song: Listen
R&B songstress Tamia unveiled earlier today a brand new song from her upcoming album “Love Life” three months after she debuted the lead single “Sandwich and a Soda”, which as expected hasn’t had the greatest performance ever on radio and charts, but that doesn’t mean it is a bad song. The title may have been a tad off-putting but the song was a real sultry jam.
The new song unveiled today, May 7, via VEVO, is titled “Stuck with Me” and until Tamia says so I won’t be calling it the second single – but it sure looks like it (it even has a cover already).
Tamia’s “Love Life” will be released in June via Def Jam and its pre-order will start on May 12 and it is then when we’ll discover the full tracklisting. Will having re-entered the major labels world mean Tamia get to have one or two major collaborations in her new album? Fingers crossed!
If you get with Tamia, you’ll be stuck with her for-eva
I don’t know what to think about “Stuck with Me” yet…if it’s confirmed as the new single from “Love Life”. For the romantic ballad about a girl feeling lost should she part ways with her boo sounds as a great song to play in your house when you’re having a romantic diner with your boyfriend/girlfriend, but as “radio single”…I’m not so sure about it. I’m not sure rhythmic radio will want to give major exposure to this particular Tamia song. I mean, she creates only amazing R&B music, but there are some tracks of hers that, hmm, let’s say, “work” better in a radio atmosphere. “Stuck with Me”, although being stunning, it lacks of that “something, something” to work as official single, IMO. Major vocals, though!
