Tamar Braxton Performs New Song "King" On "The Real", Her Facial Expressions Are Still Out Of Control!
THAT FACE! OMG!
There's no denying Tamar Braxton is an incredible vocalist and live performer. She owns every stage she has to perform at, makes great eye contact with the camera in front of her and she always mesmerizes the crowd watching in the studio and from home with her emotional vocals. But, is there something she does wrong? Unfortunately, the answer is yes. She suffers from the Christina Aguilera disease. Tamar sometimes just overdo it, exaggerating some notes when it's not really necessary and almost every time distracts the audience from what's really important in the performance, but above all, the faces she does...! Tamar needs to control that beautiful face her mother gave her. Her facial expressions go just out of control in her TV performances...to the point the whole thing becomes uncomfortable to watch sometimes. For instance, her performance yesterday (Sept. 14) on her daytime talk show "The Real". Tamar Braxton debuted a new song off her forthcoming "Calling All Lovers" album titled "King" there with a live performance - where the Tamartians leader, in a beautiful gown, sat down on top of a white piano as she belted the new ballad - and although the whole performance overall looked stunning and Tamar demonstrated once again what a terrific vocalist she is, she just forgot about facial control. I swear that instead of feeling "wowed" throughout the entire performance, I couldn't stop laughing at Tamar's facial expressions, and it got to the point I was actually anticipating for the next funny face to come - oh my, what have I become!?
Tamar, you are a great singer. Just, please, work on relaxing your face in your live performances, so us, the fans, can really enjoy your beautiful shows without any bugging distractions.
This YouTube commenter below might have went a little too hard on Tamar but it's proof other people are also feeling a bit tired about Tamar's faces:
PS: What a great song this new one "King" is! If you want to know, this ballad is the last song in the tracklisting of the standard edition of Tamar's upcoming album "Calling All Lovers", which she will drop in stores later this year!
