Stream: Wale - 'Festivus' [Mixtape]
Wale announced a new project was headed our way less than a week ago and two days before Christmas the Washington D.C. artist delivers on the release. Titled 'Festivus', the project, which is a collaborative work with producer A-Trak, comes in form of an mixtape and is a precursor to his anticipated next solo LP 'The Album About Nothing'.
Wale put together 11 new tracks for fans on 'Festivus'. ASAP Ferg, Pusha T, Ab-Soul, Chance The Rapper, and more assist the MMG rapper on features throughout while the production end of things is handled by names like Lee Majorz, Tone P, THC, AyyDot, Reggie Volume, and Marce Reazon. Samples of dialogue from the popular 90s sitcom Seinfeld can also be heard on the tape.
To accompany the release of 'Festivus', Wale has revealed the release date for 'The Album About Nothing'. We can expect the album in stores on March 31st via Maybach Music Group and Atlantic Records. Stream the new mixtape below.
