STREAM: Little Mix Release Studio Version Of "Grown" At Last! [Review]
Who else thinks that “Grown” is the best song we’ve heard from the “Get Weird” era so far? Yes, even better than the lead single “Black Magic”.
The girls of the British band Little Mix debuted the female empowering song last month with a potent performance at the Apple Music Festival. If you want to watch the girls in action again, click here!
Today, October 29th, the studio version of “Grown” is finally available on iTunes. Little Mix have confirmed that this will be the last countdown single from the new album, since “Get Weird” is hitting stores next week’s Friday, November 6th, in the UK.
That saxophone-y, bass-heavy drop is everything! Truly one of the best things I’ve heard so far this year, and undoubtedly “Grown” is my favorite song from “Get Weird” to date.
The final bonus track from Get Weird gets ???? on Friday! Hmmm feel another #EmojiTreasureHunt coming on! Leigh x pic.twitter.com/R71iSIoiqg

The studio version proves that the incredible voices of the Little Mix members are real. They sound exactly as in the live performance at the Apple Music Festival. It’s too incredible! And “Grown” really wins some bonus points with the studio version. We can appreciate the powerful and infectious production in detail now, and can understand every lyric without any fuss. “About time that I let you know / My ride and I assume control”, sing the Little Mix girls in the chorus of “Grown”, a song where they tell their ex boyfriends that they’re not those naive young girls anymore. They’re grown-ups now and they now know what things are best for them, and clearly those loser ex BFs were the worst mistakes of their lives.
Hit or Miss?
