Carrie Underwood has recorded an original song called “The Champion”.
This song will be used as the theme music for commercials promoting the 2018 Super Bowl as well as during the XXIII Winter Olympic Games broadcasts. Both sports events are to air on NBC.
“The Champion” features a verse from rapper Ludacris (*alert, this is Carrie’s first single ever featuring an urban artist!).
This song is Carrie’s first proper release since 2015’s “Storyteller” album and the first release since her horrible domestic accident a few months ago that made her receive 40 stitches on her face.
