Song Premiere: Is “Twice” Christina Aguilera’s New “Beautiful”?
Christina Aguilera released a new song from her forthcoming eighth studio album "Liberation" (in stores June 15) today. Entitled "Twice", this "countdown single" is available on all digital platforms. "Twice" has been released the same week Christina announced "The Liberation Tour".
"Sometimes I wonder what is the meaning of my life / I found the price of love and lost my mind / I will forgive them all of my wrongs and my rights / I'd do it all again and won't think twice", sings Christina on the chorus of this piano ballad.
To put it simply, "Twice" is one billion times better than "Accelerate". I really can't understand why Christina would release "Accelerate" as the first single of "Liberation" if she had OUTSTANDING songs like "Twice" on the album. If "Accelerate" is "Dirrty", "Twice" is Christina's "Beautiful". That's the best comparison I can come up with right now so you can clearly understand what's going on in my head.
"Twice" is goosebumps-worthy and it's the Christina Aguilera song I was expecting to hear in this comeback. BRAVO!
