Song Premiere: Ashley Tisdale Talks Depression & Anxiety In “Love Me & Let Me Go”

ashley tisdale love me and let me go

If you didn’t get the memo, Ashley Tisdale is making a music comeback. Her new album “Symptoms” will be released later in 2019. Last year she released the first single, “Voices In My Head”, though. We loved that. And now, Ashley is dropping the second single, “Love Me & Let Me Go”. The new song made its way onto digital platforms last Friday, January 25. The music video unfortunately didn’t premiere at the same time but we’re quite confident it will be premiering on YouTube in the coming weeks.

I'm feeling lights out, I'm feeling shut down / And when I speak up, nothing wanna come out” are the first two lyric lines of the song. They pretty much sum up the mood of the song, though. Ashley’s “Love Me & Let Me Go” hears the former Disney star speaking of depression and anxiety. Real love has been elusive for her and she’s suffering some side effects.

I like it but I don’t love it.

How many singles do you think Ashley will release before unleashing “Symptoms”? The last one before album release better the best of the bunch. That’s the one that will define the first-week sales for “Symptoms”.

UPDATE: The music video is out!
