Skylar Grey - 'Wear Me Out' (Music Video)
Skylar Grey gets frisky with his on-screen boyfriend while out camping in the music video for "Wear Me Out", a new single from the Wisconsin singer-songwriter's upcoming debut studio album "Don't Look Down", due in stores July 9 via Interscope.
For real?. Another single?. Didn't she just release the video for "Final Warning" a couple weeks ago?. What's the hurry?. Anyway, "Wear Me Out" is another piano, moody song. The kind Skylar so loves. And keeping it honest...I like it! I like the melody, and subtle production (courtesy of J.R Rotem), and of course, Skylar's clever lyrics. As for the "Wear Me Out" visual (watch above), it succeeds in capturing the 'essence', and 'vibe' of the song. The MV follows Skylar, her boyfriend, and a few friends going camping at night. Skylar will make out with her man, and play the piano under the moonlight.
Although I have huge respect for Skylar, and think she's a great talent, her career as a solo act in the spotlight just ain't gonna work...I'm afraid so. "Don't Look Down" is gonna flop so bad. I can see it already. It ain't fair though...but whachu gonna do! Back to just being a successful songwriter then, Skylar...
