Single Review: Sia - "To Be Human" / *Audio Included
Is Sia capable of ever recording bad music? I DON’T THINK SO!
If you didn’t know, the Australian singer-songwriter has an original song on the soundtrack of the new “Wonder Woman” movie (in theaters June 2). This piece of music is titled “To Be Human”, it features British singer Labrinth (who collaborated with Noah Cyrus on her debut single “Make Me (Cry)”, if you’re having some hard time picturing him), and it was released on digital stores today, May 26.
“To Be Human” is an epic ballad where Sia again shows off her unique singing style, vocal range and talent for writing feelings-shaking songs (loving how all of her soundtrack songs follow a cohesive pattern). “To be human is to love / Even when it gets too much / I'm not ready to give up / To be human”, sings the “Chandelier” star on the chorus of her “Wonder Woman” track. Such a great message, isn’t it? Some people should really pay attention to these lyrics, especially in the crazy world we’re living right now.
You’ll be able to hear Sia and Labrinth’s song during the ending credits of “Wonder Woman”. So don’t you dare leaving the cinema until you’ve heard “To Be Human” in full. Do it out of respect to Sia.
