Single Review: Shania Twain - "Life's About To Get Good" / *Studio Audio Available
Indeed, life’s about to get good now that we have our legendary queen Shania Twain back with us.
15 years after the release of her last studio album “Up!” (2002), Shania Twain is ready to give fans one more album. Called “Now”, it will be out in stores in September this year. But worry now, you won’t have to wait till September to listen to the first single, the first single is out today. Entitled “Life’s About To Get Good”, you have read many descriptions and articles about this song, and I’m sure you’ve even watched on YouTube a live performance Shania delivered of “Life’s About To Get Good” about a month ago by surprise in a concert, but today we must feel rejoiced for the studio version has arrived.
Stream:
“I wasn’t just broken, I was shattered / I trusted you so much, you were all that mattered / You no longer love me and you stand right beside her”, sings Shania in the opening verse of “Life’s About To Get Good”, an up-tempo country, folk, pop hybrid song. Shania talks here about a boyfriend who cheated on her and left her for another woman but for whom she feels no hatred anymore. She’s realized it’s best to forgive and let go, and move on with your chin up looking straight to the future for no doubt you will find in time another person who will love you purely and sincerely.
What a great life motto this song is, huh?
This is a hit, baby!
