Sigma Link Up with Ella Henderson For New Drum & Bass Single “Glitterball”: Listen Now!
Ella Henderson is apparently not releasing more singles from her “Chapter One” debut album (last one was “Mirror Man”) but knowing she has to remain ‘active’ in this business so her popularity doesn’t fade away, the British singer-songwriter has agreed to record a collaboration with drum and bass production duo Sigma for their forthcoming album “Life” which they will release later this year via independent label 3Beat.
Sigma and Ella’s song is titled “Glitterball”, it premiered on radio in the UK this Thursday morning (May 21), and it will be officially out in the country (and available on iTunes there) on July 31. Is it good song? Not just good, it is GREAT!
I think “Glitterball” just became my favorite Sigma single ever; yeah, I like it better than “Nobody to Love”, “Changing” and “Higher”.
I honestly never imagined a Sigma and Ella Henderson collaboration because on my mind they are like in opposite sides music-wise but I’m just glad Sigma did ring Ella up and made her record “Glitterball” because this song so needed HER vocals and no one else’s. I just love how Ella transmits so much EMOTION through her voice. My favorite part of “Glitterball” has to be post-chorus where Ella sings the “do you feel loooove?”, “and I feel looooove” bits. My body and soul were slayed in that precise moment. Ella took me to church!
