Shawn Mendes Performs "Life of The Party" on "Kelly & Michael": Watch
Shawn Mendes performed his debut single “Life of the Party" for the first time on television on ABC's "Live! with Kelly & Michael" on Thursday, July 24. The song is the first single from the 15-year-old Canadian singer’s upcoming “The Shawn Mendes EP", which is dropping on iTunes on July 28th via Island Records.
Shawn Mendes rose to fame overnight after posting 7-sec long covers of their favourite songs on social network Vine. He got thousands of re-vines, likes, etc, and was even praised by Ed Sheeran, who flew him in to where he was to have dinner with him! Last month, Shawn released his first single, uplifting pop ballad “Life of the Party", and announced he had inked a deal with Island Records (Justin Bieber’s label).
Performance review
At "Live! with Kelly & Michael", Shawn kept it simple. He performed “Life of the Party" acoustically with just his guitar in hand. Great vocals! This kid’s talent. Shawn kicks off tomorrow a tour with Austin Mahone. Check out dates here.
