The whole world is a fan of Ed Sheeran and that means Shawn Mendes too. The success of the British singer's latest album "÷" has been so big that YouTube has been flooded with several covers. But what was one that was missing? A cover by Shawn Mendes of course. What song from "Divide" did he pick? One of our favorites, "Perfect". And YouTube wasn't his platform of choice for publishing this 20-second cover, but Instagram (we'll take it too!). The video below was posted just minutes ago (so we served it to you fresh and hot out of the oven).
Beautiful and very emotional cover. His voice is a gift from the heavens above and his acoustic guitar playing was the perfect companion to this cover. We're sure Ed will love this when he hears it. And please, can they record a collaboration one day in the near future? That would be the most amazing song ever written. Hands down!
