Shakira Announces New Album “El Dorado”: Official Tracklist + Cover Art!
So the rumors were true…
Shakira just announce via social media that her forthcoming eleventh studio album is indeed called, as the rumors indicated, “El Dorado” (like the myth of the lost city of gold), and it will be released in stores, again as the rumors indicated, on May 26 via RCA and Sony Music.
What the rumors didn’t have or describe, though, was the album’s official artwork. That Shakira did get out as a total exclusive. It’s the main photo at the top. The one that sees Shakira almost completely drowned in a pool of an oat-colored liquid, as she looks straight to the camera not afraid but in control of the situation. Her name and album title will be written in golden words (nice).
So both of the rumors (album title and release date) that leaked last month and earlier this month were true. Shakira better improve her security system because she was definitely hacked or something. Or someone she entrusted her album’s information with spilled the beans behind her back.
Official singles of "El Dorado" so far are "Chantaje" and "Me Enamore".
