Sevyn Streeter Delivers Apocalypsis In “Prolly” Music Video: Watch
Sevyn Streeter ain’t giving two f*cks in her new single “Prolly”.
In her new intense-sounding urban song, the R&B chanteuse boasts about how drunk she can get in a night, not caring about how much money she spends, not caring about going too far, or even being the cause of a nasty fight. And this very last affirmation seems to be the inspiration for her official “Prolly” music video that was premiered on YouTube last night (Aug. 15), only three days after the Gucci Mane-assisted song went on sale on all digital platforms.
The music video, which you can watch at the bottom of this page, sees Sevyn Streeter being the leader of a rebel group at what seems to be a battlefield where, additionally, she will be seen with Gucci Mane wandering through a series of tunnels covered with camouflage nettings. It seems the “fight” she “caused” is to blame for the post-apocalyptic appearance of Sevyn’s town.
For those not in the knowing, “Prolly” is confirmed to be the official lead single from Sevyn Streeter’s long-awaited debut studio album, rumored to be called “Girl Interrupted”, which will be released in either late 2016 or early 2017 via Atlantic Records.
I can’t stop humming Prolly’s chorus ever since I first heard it last week. I guess this is a sign the song has the potential to be a resounding success on urban radio in the coming months! Woot! Go Sevyn!
