Selena Disappoints But Nicola Slays In London!
Selena Gomez has been for a week now in London Town promoting her new album "When The Sun Goes Down" - She's done CD signings, radio interviews, random events' photocalls, and today she's finally delivered the first TV performance of this new UK promo trip.
The pop singer performed her new super catchy single "Love You Like A Love Song" on ITV 1's breakfast show 'Daybreak'. And boy let me tell right now, this could be one of the most depressing performances I've ever seen. So low energy! Her fans are probably gonna say she was either sick, or since this is a very early morning show she wasn't fully awake (lol) but I don't care, I've seen artists who even though were sick still killed it on stage. I do not approve this at all. Selena's gonna ruin the "Love You Like A Love Song" era in the UK and the song is brilliant. SMH.
On the contrary, the oh so fabolous Nicola Roberts - who judging by the recent leaks, may have one AWESOME pop album coming - performed her debut solo single "Beat of My Drum" on today's 'Friday Download' show on BBC...and unlike the previous TV showings, today Nicola's shown signs of improvement! Okay, perhaps the most adequate verb to describe this performance ain't 'slay' but it's just that I'm too excited! Nicola is finally loosening up all that stiffness, she's bringing out that little swag she has inside, she wore a cooler outfit, the hair was great, I mean everything was working out in this performance! And the best thing is that for once, the crowd was diggin' it! I'm still needing a killer booty-shaking choreography for the breakdown though.
