Sad News: Cheryl & Liam Payne Announce Their Break-Up!
Sad news for the pop music community.
Cheryl (still known as “Cheryl Cole” by many) and Liam Payne announced their split late on Sunday night (July 1).
The “Fight For This Love” singer (oh the irony…) wrote the following on Twitter: “We are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It's been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.”

Liam Payne, aka. the “Familiar” singer, posted a similar tweet on his Twitter account immediately after Cheryl’s.

Cheryl and Liam officially started dating in 2016 and they welcomed their first child, Bear Payne, in March 2017.
Their last public outing together was at the 2018 BRIT Awards, which were held in London all the way back in FEBRUARY.
