Sabi - 'Wild Heart' (Music Video!)
Singer/rapper Sabi, best known for her contribution in the hits "You Make Me Feel..." by Cobra Starship and Britney's "(Drop Dead) Beautiful", is finally giving a music video to her official debut single "Wild Heart"! The dubstep-friendly tune - produced by the Dream Machine (who produced "Mmm Papi" by Britney, and co-produced "Seal It With A Kiss") - premiered during the summer of 2011 (Yes. It's been that long! SMH Sabi) with its 'audio video' racking up just over 1 million hits on Sabi's YouTube page to date.
I liked the song back then, and watching the fierce visual Sabi's shot for it, I'm replaying "Wild Heart" a lot now. But truth is, the song's been out for too long, and I don't think it's the right record for this time. Summer is coming, and Sabi should've released a brand new track as single. A killer party-ready tune! "Wild Heart" is cute, and demonstrates Sabi's got talent, but this should've been promoted when it was released and not now. As for the newly-premiered music video, filmed at a house in downtown Los Angeles last month, it shows a melancholic Sabi (she looks stunning!) belting out the "Wild Heart" lyrics as she wanders through the empty house, and later executes some kind of ritual burning up paper-made hearts, expressing she's done with her previous relationship. Deep!
