Rixton - "Hotel Ceiling" [Music Video Premiere!]
That’s one psychopath girl.
British pop/rock band Rixton unveiled at 3 a.m EST time today (Jan. 15) the music video for their song “Hotel Ceiling” via VEVO. The Ed Sheeran-written heartfelt ballad serves as the official third single from Rixton’s debut album “Let the Road”.
"Me and My Broken Heart" peaked at #1 in the UK, the follow-up “Wait on Me” disappointed only reaching #12 and I'm pretty much confident “Hotel Ceiling” is going to do as bad or worse as the flop second single. I know Rixton decided to release this song as their new single because superstar Ed Sheeran is the writer and that should mean the chances of “Hotel Ceiling” peaking at a high chart position are good (due to Ed’s ‘magic') but I'm not personally backing up this theory. “Hotel Ceiling” would perform well if Ed Sheeran performed it, but since it's a Rixton song, I don't think so. I'm yet to be moved by one of their ballads (stick to the catchy tracks they must).

Yeah, this is kind of what I imagined the video to be. I say 'kind of' because although I expected a death in the video, I didn't expect the girl to be doing the murdering.
The plot: Two young adults in love in London. They love going out, kissing, stripping for each other, watching TV together but they also have their down times. Following a really nasty verbal and physical fight under a bridge, the last scene of the "Hotel Ceiling” video shows the psychopath blonde girlfriend at her hotel room wearing a wedding dress and ‘officially’ marring the boyfriend by inserting a ring to his finger. So what's the issue? That she had just killed the poor bastard and he's lying death on the floor so she had to take his dead hand to do all the creepy marrying.
Evidently the dude had just dumped her and she did not take it very good.
