Rita Ora's New Album Delayed Til 2015 / Walks Out Mid-Interview After Calvin Harris Question
Looks like Rita Ora is tired of the Calvin Harris questions. During a red carpet interview earlier this week – for the launch of the new DKNY fragrance - in New York City with the Associated Press, British singer and “Black Widow” star Rita Ora walked out on the reporter because she simply didn’t want to answer any questions relating to Calvin Harris or the reports he’s sabotaging her new album. “Thank you, bye” was the sort of polite but rude farewell Rita used to cut the interview short.
During the same interview with the reporter of the Associated Press, Iggy Azalea’s BFF announced very bad news for her fans. Her second album has been pushed back to January 2015. The yet-untitled project was CONFIRMED for a 2014 Q4 release via Roc Nation. The reason of this delay? Well, it’s pretty obvious, isn't it? CALVIN HARRIS. He's not allowing Rita to properly promote "I Will Never Let You Down" in the U.S - she blocked her "Teen Choice Awards" performance – and he's said to have forbidden Rita's label to include all the tracks he produced and wrote for her new album. Without the Calvin Harris songs, it’s evident Rita needs to get back to the studio to record new material.
Very sad Rita won’t be able to exploit the “Black Widow” momentum. Her album #2 needed to come out now.
