Rihanna - "Four Five Seconds" [Music Video Premiere!]
Sometimes less is more and Rihanna knows it.
The Barbados native premiered at 9am EST on Tuesday (Feb. 3) via VEVO the music video for “Four Five Seconds”, the lead single from her forthcoming eighth studio album, rumored to be called “R8”, dropping later this year. The acoustic-y song features rapper Kanye West and ‘Beatle’ legend Paul McCartney (who only contributes with his guitar skills) and has been received as a “shock” by many Rihanna fans because of its “bold” sound. When you think of a Rihanna lead single you imagine a "banger" or a "huge song", and not something as “minimalist” as this. Still, the track is being supported rather well by radios and iTunes downloads are strong too making “Four Five Seconds” a Top 10 hit since launch! Rant over: watch the video below:
Looks like a denim commercial of yore, huh? What a cool concept. Love the fact it’s black and white, love how Rihanna looks in it too, and overall the care-free, simplistic vibe totally fits “Four Five Seconds”.
